An Atreus overall project manager for the subsidiary of a German Tier 1, successfully carried out the retrofit of the object detection system of autonomous shuttles in the Netherlands. Challenges included defining the bill of materials and managing external subcontractors. The project was completed on time, with improved driving performance and successful handover to the acceptance test.

Situation and Challenge

Lighthouse project in the Netherlands: autonomous shuttles in local transportation
Tests of the autonomous shuttle show the need to retrofit the object recognition system

Outsourcing of conversion work to external subcontractors
