Situation and Challenge

  • System development does not meet the specific requirements and regulations of the European market

Objectives and Tasks

  • Improve system development for European truck variants with a focus on European customer requirements and European regulations
  • Establish a software engineering team to consolidate the HMI and telematics functions in one software and test them for test benches and vehicles
  • Establishing cooperation with European ADAS suppliers to deliver GSR-compliant systems for BEV and FCEV trucks
  • Support in setting up the internal structures between the Controls Application Engineering team, the ADAS team and the HMI team
  • Advice on integration, calibration and verification of software for powertrain, thermal, body and ADAS systems
