Andreas Nauen brings an extensive expertise for the renewables & wind sector with over 30 years in the energy sector and close to 20 years in senior positions in renewables.

Currently he serves amongst other assignments as an Operating Partner of Sandbrook, a US Private Equity fund and in the Board of NKT A/S, a leading European cable manufacturer. Prior to his current roles and finally joining Atreus as Industry Advisor Andreas Nauen was the CEO of Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy, one of the top 3 wind turbine OEMs.

During his time in renewables at Siemens Wind Power, RePower/Senvion and Siemens Gamesa he drove these business during a strong growth phase including major technology steps, the expansion into Offshore Wind and under his leadership successful service businesses were created. Before his time in wind industry Andreas held various functions in the fossil division of Siemens Power Generation.

He has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Duisburg/Germany and an MBA from the University of Hagen/Germany.
