Heinz Spremberg is a transformation manager in the energy sector and was a member of the supervisory board and CEO of a leading German media group for seven years

Dr. Heinz Spremberg is currently Interim Manager at Thyssengas. He is responsible for setting up an organization with which Thyssengas will implement over 1,000 km of the H2 pipelines – divided into 21 new construction projects. Prior to this role, he was interim Chief of Transformation at the VSB Group, where he was responsible for implementing the ambitious growth targets. The VSB Group is a project developer for wind and PV parks, which is represented in nine European countries. Prior to this, Dr. Spremberg was CEO of the DREFA Media Group with its 14 subsidiaries where he was responsible for strategy and operations. Prior to that, he was Managing Director of a media company and worked in management consulting for over eight years.

Dr. Spremberg has extensive experience in the energy industry (hydrogen and renewables) as well as in the media industry (broadcast, studio and stage technology and film/TV production). He has a very successful background in operational management, the transformation of organizations or business models and change management in crisis situations or in the restructuring of companies. Dr. Heinz Spremberg has been active in three supervisory boards in the media industry. He has a degree in philosophy and economics.
