Dr Joerg Karas is a business angel, consultant and has 20 years of international experience in the consumer goods industry.

He focuses on the key topics of innovation, strategy, digitalisation and the future of business models. In his career to date, he has been active in a variety of leadership positions in B2B and B2C – as CEO, production or development manager or in the establishment of international subsidiaries. Until 2020, Dr Karas acted as Group Managing Director of the renowned Schwan-STABILO Group, which includes the STABILO, Schwancosmetics, DEUTER and Ortovox brands.

In recent years, he has focused on consulting and coaching in the areas of leadership and digital transformation. In addition, he contributes his expertise and entrepreneurial spirit as an advisory board member as well as in a number of start-ups (including greenhats GmbH, Connect Mobility GmbH).
