Dr. Kristin Nagel is Director of the Atreus Solution Group Mechanical and Plant Engineering. She has extensive consulting and management experience.

As a strategic consultant and expert in strategy, turnaround and restructuring, she supports companies in shaping their corporate strategy and solving complex issues. Dr. Kristin Nagel is characterized by her strong analytical and communication skills.

Her passion is to support companies in filling key positions and interim managers in order to successfully implement transformations and restructuring, increase efficiency and sustainably improve performance. Her expertise covers areas such as Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) – in particular carve-out topics, corporate strategy, performance improvement and business transformation. Her deep understanding of international business development and the special requirements at board level enable her to successfully support and drive forward complex projects and changes. Dr. Kristin Nagel has proven experience in leading PMOs and strategic corporate and M&A projects through the management of global turnaround and restructuring programs with significant EBIT effects.

Prior to joining Atreus, she held various management positions at a leading global machinery and equipment manufacturer and in strategy at an international industrial holding company, where she drove international projects and strategies. She also has experience in founding a high-tech company in the special machinery sector, which sharpened her strong analytical and problem-solving skills at a very early stage.
