Peter Fruhstorfer is a top manager, consultant and advisory board member. From 2019 to 2023, he was Co-CEO and Chief Business Officer of Eppendorf SE, a leading international German company for laboratory equipment and consumables in the life science, diagnostics and healthcare industries. Under his leadership, the company experienced the strongest growth in its history and significantly expanded its business, particularly in China.

Previously, from 2012 to 2018, he led the cryo electron microscopy business at FEI in Hillsboro, Oregon, and later at Thermo Fisher Scientific in Waltham, MA. Under his leadership, this highly innovative breakthrough technology for investigating the structure and function of complex protein structures and intracellular interactions became established in cutting-edge academic and industrial research worldwide.

Fruhstorfer is an advisor and strategy consultant to technology start-ups and established companies in the life sciences sector. He also serves as an industry advisor to selected international private equity companies.

Fruhstorfer, who holds a doctorate in natural sciences, began his career at the Carl Zeiss Group, where he was responsible for various international tasks, in particular the development of new markets and the expansion of business activities in Asia.
