Hans-Günther Meier is Senior Advisor Energy Business and Finance as well as Member of the Advisory Board. From 2013 to 2023, he was a member of the Executive Board and CFO at Stadtwerke Düsseldorf.

His responsibilities included finance, investments, controlling, legal, human resources, IT and purchasing. Prior to this, he worked for over 15 years at various energy suppliers, including Energie Baden-Württemberg AG and Gasversorgung Süddeutschland GmbH. During this time, he held various board or management positions. His focus is on finance, controlling, risk management, M&A, start-ups, law and compliance.

Hans-Günther Meier is a qualified banker and studied business administration at the University of Mannheim as well as international management at INSEAD, Fontainebleau.
