Nils Hartmann is part of the Zurich office of Heidrick & Struggles, which is developing the interim management offering in Switzerland, as well as part of Atreus, Heidrick & Struggles’ interim service provider based in Munich. He supports clients in the healthcare sector in successfully overcoming challenges in the areas of marketing & sales strategy, launch excellence, brand management, leadership, organizational & cultural development and change management.
Nils created and executed marketing strategies for Pharmaceutical and FMCG brands over 25 years. He executed global product launches in various sales and marketing leadership roles, ranging from local to global responsibility, leading teams towards commercial excellence. He also understands the impact of AI, as he defined AI applications for sales force execution improvements.
Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Nils served as a Partner & Senior Strategy Advisor at ctcHealth and as a General Manager of Eli Lilly in Poland. His expertise extends to global markets, demonstrated by his role as Associate Vice President of Global Marketing for Eli Lilly’s diabetes portfolio.
Earlier, he held various commercial roles for Eli Lilly, such as Business Unit Director, leading commercial operations across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Prior to working in Pharma, Nils spent six years in FMCG marketing at Unilever. He is fluent in German and English.
