Ulrich Wallenhorst is a top executive, investor, and shareholder of a consulting and
investment company, as well as a startup incubator. From 2018 to 2023, he served as
the technical managing director of the tool brand KNIPEX in Wuppertal.

Prior to this, he gained over three decades of management and leadership experience in
industries such as automation technology, transportation, logistics,
telecommunications, and medical technology, including his role as CTO of TE
Connectivity, an S&P 500 company. At TE Connectivity, he was responsible for both
organic and inorganic growth of the industrial division and successfully led M&A
projects.

Wallenhorst is a member and chairman of numerous advisory boards, including at
Wieland Electric GmbH, ELA Container GmbH, and the BCS Group. He began his
professional career after studying physics at HARTING, before taking on roles such as
CTO at Weidmüller and Vice President at B.Braun Avitum. Additionally, he has
extensive experience in international business and startups.

Wallenhorst is also active in various committees, such as the German Digital Advisory
Boards, serves as a board member at ARMID e.V., and invests in MedTech and
DeepTech startups and venture capital firms
